With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chiquinho Pires in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Corrêa saved ThuGLife MZ from getting behind. Jaudilandia's Caco Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Vianna in the 9th minute of play. Chiquinho Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Corrêa having to interfere. If Patrício Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to ThuGLife MZ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Patrício Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Chiquinho Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Vianna in the 24th minute of play forced Jaudilandia's goalkeeper Caco Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrão Domingues hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Jaudilandia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Percy Brito hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrício Coutinho was the one to do the kick off.
