Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jaboatao EC's Paulo Pinho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oscar Urbano came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.D Latifundio's Zé Roberto Ferreira. But to his dismay, Zé Roberto Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Duarte in the 6th minute of play forced Jaboatao EC's goalkeeper Oscar Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes of play, A.D Latifundio's Donato Duarte made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Paulo Pinho put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aníbal Aguiar. If Sílvio Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Oliveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aníbal Aguiar. A.D Latifundio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Oscar Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donato Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Oscar Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Cauã Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Sílvio Campidelis notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of A.D Latifundio's Aníbal Aguiar. Aníbal Aguiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Paulo Pinho made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Aguiar. A.D Latifundio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sílvio Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaboatao EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Jaboatao EC's Cafu Romero got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jaboatao EC's zone, Zé Roberto Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Urbano came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the game, Raphael de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.D Latifundio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaboatao EC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.D Latifundio fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Jaboatao EC. Dinei Dantas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aníbal Aguiar. 4-3. After 79 played minutes, Jaboatao EC's Natã Passos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aníbal Aguiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaboatao EC reached it. After a rather tough play, A.D Latifundio's Luisão Falcão got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Sílvio Campidelis made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Aguiar. A.D Latifundio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Cafu Romero's late challenge caught a A.D Latifundio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cafu Romero helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in A.D Latifundio's zone, Sílvio Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Aguiar came out of the goal and Sílvio Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
