The supporters of Murihe booed when Cabore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luizinho do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Geovanni Bastos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 31st minute, Geovanni Bastos made a precise shot to the right of Abdulvahit Nazil. Murihe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luís Gustavo de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizinho do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Cabore's Raimundo Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano do Vale in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Geovanni Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulvahit Nazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Murihe getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leandro Pitta hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Geovanni Bastos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdulvahit Nazil. Murihe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Bastos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Cipriano do Vale made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Cabore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Lara to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Bastos struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Abdulvahit Nazil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabore. Abdulvahit Nazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Bastos in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Geovanni Bastos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abdulvahit Nazil, passed just outside the right post. Geovanni Bastos took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulvahit Nazil. Abdulvahit Nazil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Gláuber Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulvahit Nazil having to interfere. Cabore played a much better game than Murihe and deserved their victory. The Murihe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
