With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick de Toledo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Simão saved Pirajuia from getting behind. When Ernani Romero came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Pirajuia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani Romero couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sai da Frente Satanás's zone, Ernani Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Berger came out of the goal and Ernani Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sai da Frente Satanás's José Maria Mota got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ernani Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Berger having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernani Romero got free with Gláuber Berger in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes of play, Sai da Frente Satanás's Faustão Prestes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Negri's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The Pirajuia fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Pirajuia's Ernani Romero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernani Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gláuber Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mauro Simão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick de Toledo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Patrick de Toledo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Simão. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. Kiko Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Berger having to interfere. If Ernani Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
