After a rather tough play, Sai da Frente Satanás's José Maria Rodrigues got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 14 minutes into the match, Sai da Frente Satanás's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Lara came free, but Gláuber Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sai da Frente Satanás's Gláuber Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói de Queiroz in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Sai da Frente Satanás getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. José Maria Rodrigues hit a great ball. Nando Gerber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gláuber Berger. Sai da Frente Satanás's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute Elói de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Egídio Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Egídio Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laranjal's supporters rose to their feet, but Egídio Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gláuber Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sai da Frente Satanás's zone, Luiz Fernando Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Berger came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sai da Frente Satanás's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Egídio Lara 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick de Toledo made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laranjal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Sai da Frente Satanás. Carlos Travassos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Recife. 1-2. In the 62nd minute Luiz Fernando Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Laranjal's Luiz Fernando Cearense in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Laranjal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sai da Frente Satanás the free kick. Rômulo Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Laranjal's Egídio Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gláuber Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Cearense's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Luiz Fernando Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fernando Cearense in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gláuber Berger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Lara in the 90th minute of play forced Sai da Frente Satanás's goalkeeper Gláuber Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Cearense struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gláuber Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laranjal. Faustão Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laranjal were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sai da Frente Satanás to leave the ground with a draw.
