The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Wellington Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inglesa AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave As de Ouro the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Inglesa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Soares to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Hermes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Inglesa AD's Amauri Guerra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zé Paulo Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tales Soeiro having to make a save. In the 14th minute of the match, Zé Paulo Jacinto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tales Soeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidney Galvão during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inglesa AD's Sidney Galvão got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Zé Paulo Jacinto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tales Soeiro. The goal made the score 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sidney Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inglesa AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 莫泉克 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dadá Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Felippe Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zé Paulo Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the As de Ouro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo Jacinto couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Inglesa AD's Deivid Bueno got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Zé Paulo Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tales Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Felippe Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Felippe Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Paulo Jacintos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Tales Soeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tales Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Jacinto in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Zé Paulo Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. Tales Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felippe Cosme's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Felippe Cosme notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Inglesa AD's Tales Soeiro. Tales Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 64th minute of the match Wellington Soares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wellington Soares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Wellington Soares hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Sidney Galvão got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 68 played minutes Inglesa AD got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Galvão. As de Ouro's Felippe Cosme managed to work through Inglesa AD's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Felippe Cosme dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felippe Cosme in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Dadá Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inglesa AD's protests and gave Dadá Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Dadá Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zé Paulo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. As de Ouro's Reginaldo Fernandes was substituted for Zé Paulo Jacinto. In the 87thth minute of the game Felippe Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inglesa AD's Tales Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reginaldo Fernandes in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tales Soeiro saved Inglesa AD from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the As de Ouro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
