Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Paulo Branco started the match with the kick off. Laerte Almeida made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Joonas Sammalkangas sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Haroldo Salvidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Itaum AD booed when Guatacaba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Guatacaba EC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Luizinho Quadros hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Benedito Campidelis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armandinho Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hernani Eger hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Diego Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armandinho Diniz was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Diego Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Diniz having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Joonas Sammalkangas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guatacaba EC and the Itaum AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Guatacaba EC got a freekick which was hit by Joonas Sammalkangas. Beto Koehler got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Júnior Gaspar. After having played for 44 minutes, João Paulo Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaum AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joonas Sammalkangas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joonas Sammalkangas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joonas Sammalkangas in the 54th minute of play forced Itaum AD's goalkeeper Laerte Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guatacaba EC made a substitution. Serafim Dias replaced Hernani Eger. With a little luck, Guatacaba EC's Armandinho Diniz got control of the ball when Diego Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes, Diego Nascimento made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Guatacaba EC's Armandinho Diniz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorival Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Albertino Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Beto Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83rd play minutes Joonas Sammalkangas shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Laerte Almeida and just under the crossbar into goal. 88 minutes into the game, Serafim Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatacaba EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaum AD the free kick. The long shot by Benedito Campidelis in the 89th minute really tested Armandinho Diniz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Jean Vinhas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Guatacaba EC's Yuri Silveira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Despite being the better team, Itaum AD failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
