In the 3rd minute, Gino Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laerte Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Lucas in the 5th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Gino Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gino Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gino Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Almeida having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Júnior Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaum AD and the Guariroba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Júnior Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Borges in the 21st minute of play forced Itaum AD's goalkeeper Laerte Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, João Paulo Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaum AD's supporters rose to their feet, but João Paulo Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renato Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Itaum AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Guariroba's Ivo Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laerte Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guariroba reached it. If Gino Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, Guariroba's Gino Lucas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Lucas was the one to do the kick off. Diego Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafinha Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafinha Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guariroba getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rafinha Arantes hit a great ball. After 53 minutes of play Guariroba's Rafinha Arantes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Cristiano Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guariroba's Renato Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Guariroba getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. César de Sousa hit a great ball. Cristiano Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Paulo Branco during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gino Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Laerte Almeida made a huge save. Cristiano Borges took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laerte Almeida. Laerte Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Geraldo Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Guariroba played a much better game than Itaum AD and deserved their victory. The Itaum AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
