Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Samuel Abreu made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Samuel Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualter Vergílio. Vae Victis !'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gustavo Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Samuel Abreu's late challenge caught a Vae Victis !'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Itajobi SS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Samuel Abreu hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match, Alan de Barros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruy Trancoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alan de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Trancoso having to interfere. Samuel Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo França got free with Ruy Trancoso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Itajobi SS's Ruy Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan de Barros in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo França got free with Ruy Trancoso in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alan de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alan de Barros made a kick off. Vae Victis !'s Rodolfo França managed to work through Itajobi SS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rodolfo França dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 61 played minutes Itajobi SS got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Salles. Ruy Trancoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo França's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Vae Victis ! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Vedat Ortun to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Itajobi SS's Gualter Vergílio threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuel Abreu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 76 minutes into the match, Vae Victis !'s goalkeeper Gualter Vergílio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Machado. Rodolfo França scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alan de Barros scored 5-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Itajobi SS defense, Rodolfo França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Trancoso. The Itajobi SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Trancoso should have stopped the shot. Gualter Vergílio came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Itajobi SS's Samuel Abreu. But to his dismay, Samuel Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After having played for 94 minutes, Gustavo Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itajobi SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Vae Victis ! players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
