With a little luck, Mapixi's Samuel Severo got control of the ball when Marcinho Saraiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Elias Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elias Leite hit a great ball. When Luizão Rossi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ronaldão Cavalcante was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Luizão Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tupiniquins SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mapixi were winning 0-1.

Ciro Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Cavalcante having to interfere. Marcinho Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Samuel Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Marcinho Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Severo was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
