In the 10th match minute, FlaNatal I9club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FlaNatal I9club's Alfredão Guimarães got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válbson de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Severo having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Alfredão Guimarães made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Severo. Mapixi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luan Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Rossi in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Luizão Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mapixi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Válbson de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Samuel Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredão Guimarães to strike the kick off in the second half. Dida Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Tião Leme's late challenge caught a FlaNatal I9club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião Leme helped the player get up and apologised. Tião Leme hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Luan Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Freire in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Luizão Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luan Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luizão Rossi's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Luan Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Godoi in the 97th minute of play. FlaNatal I9club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
