Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Fernando Vergílio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Itapora SS got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Marquez. José Carlos Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacuripe's Oscar Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto de Souza in the 8th minute of play. Reinaldo Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Luiz Fernando Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapora SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fernando Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo José Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião Jacinto in the 16th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, one of Itapora SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Jacuripe a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manoel Barbosa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Itapora SS's Paulo José Prado. 0-1. The supporters of Jacuripe booed when Itapora SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Arósio was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Humberto de Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto de Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Natã de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Eliézer Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Oscar Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitório Monteiro made a kick off. Jacuripe's Oscar Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Ribeiro in the 56th minute of play. If Alexsandro Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacuripe's Vitório Monteiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo José Prado. That made the score 3-2 after 60 minutes of play. When Manoel Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacuripe's protests and gave Manoel Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Manoel Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Reinaldo Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Itapora SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Itapora SS's Reinaldo Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitório Monteiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo José Prado. That made the score 3-3 in the 73 minute of play. If Reinaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Dias's late challenge caught a Itapora SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Carlos Dias helped the player get up and apologised. José Carlos Dias hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Oscar Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Ribeiro in the 82nd minute of play. Paulo José Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Jacuripe's José Carlos Dias got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Ribeiro in the 86th minute of play forced Jacuripe's goalkeeper Oscar Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Fausto Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reinaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Allan Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacuripe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapora SS the free kick. Allan Bastos hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Eliézer Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Itapora SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Sergipano couldn't finish the play. Eliézer Sergipano took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Arósio. Oscar Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Itapora SS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
