Frank Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Daniel Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ronaldo Santos. Daniel Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Giovanni da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Santos having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Giovanni da Silveira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldo Santos came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. Conrado da Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frank Pitta. Tomatemáticos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Tomatemáticos F.C.'s Giovanni da Silveira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldo Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Giovanni da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Alcântara during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Daniel Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Pitta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raí de Godoi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedito Soeiro got free with Frank Pitta in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Giovanni da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tomatemáticos F.C.'s Frank Pitta got control of the ball when Benedito Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Pitta made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Benedito Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Benedito Soeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Frank Pitta however easily saved by the left post. Tomatemáticos F.C.'s Giovanni da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomatemáticos F.C.'s Frank Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Tomatemáticos F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 84 played minutes Tomatemáticos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Américo Terra. Daniel Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Santos having to interfere.
