Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilson Coelho kicked off to start the match. Lino Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rubinho Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Curupasse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. If Marquinhos Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Coelho in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Sergipano saved Curupasse from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Lino Matorin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erivaldo Moraes. Lino Matorin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Rubens Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erivaldo Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Sergipano in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Medeiros in the 27th minute of play forced Curupasse's goalkeeper Frederico Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Erivaldo Moraes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luisão Sergipano in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 34th minute, Lino Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldir das Neves's late challenge caught a Curupasse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldir das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Waldir das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Curupasse's Luisão Sergipano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erivaldo Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rubens Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Erivaldo Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Terra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bola EC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Willian Sergipano hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisão Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Curupasse's goalkeeper Frederico Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Medeiros. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Lino Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curupasse's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erivaldo Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bola EC's Marquinhos Varela got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Ademar Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bola EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curupasse the free kick. Rubinho Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Rubens Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Curupasse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Terra to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Frederico Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rubinho Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curupasse's protests and gave Rubinho Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Curupasse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. If Wilson Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Medeiros got free with Frederico Sergipano in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Curupasse's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Coelho came free, but Frederico Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Bola EC's Willian Sergipano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Willian Sergipano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bola EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Willian Sergipano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Curupasse booed when Bola EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willian Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisão Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curupasse walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
