Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Loyola started the match with the kick off. If Jorge Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute of the match, Manuel Falcão got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomé Peres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 9th minute of the match Tronqueira got a corner. Pinare FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sydney Chaves ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Tronqueira's corner Sydney Chaves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomé Peres quite easily take care of the ball. Tomé Peres came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Tronqueira's Jorge Maciel. But to his dismay, Jorge Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Manuel Falcão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Peres was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Magno Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Loyola in the 20th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Pinare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Falcão came free, but Tomé Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, Luizinho Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinare FC and the Tronqueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pinare FC's Luizinho Leme got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tomé Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Teles having to interfere. With his leg Tomé Peres managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Tronqueira's Jorge Maciel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tomé Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Falcão in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Pinare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Marques to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Maciel in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Manuel Falcão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tomé Peres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Pinare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Maciel came free, but Tomé Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Pinare FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tronqueira:s goal. 77 minutes into the match, Pinare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Falcão came free, but Tomé Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Teles having to interfere. Magno Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Loyola in the 82nd minute of play. If Manuel Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Falcão struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tomé Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tronqueira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Maciel in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute of the match Dráusio de Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomé Peres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dieguinho Soeiro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jorge Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Peres having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Manuel Falcão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tronqueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tronqueira had won after a very even match.
