Benedito Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Queirós in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Sílvio Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio de Queirós in the 90th minute of play forced Associação VSKG's goalkeeper Benedito Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gilson Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot.
