Thomás Gaúcho hit a great ball. Franklin Figueiredo was a little too slow when Hélder Macedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Franklin Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Macedo in the 57th minute of the match. Noel Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastião Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. A collision led to Jaguar Thunder getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luís Paulo de Carvalho hit a great ball. Hélder Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Figueiredo having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Noel Fantini successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luan do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Franklin Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund defense, João Vítor Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Figueiredo. The Borussia Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. Hans Dreischer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Noel Fantini made a huge save. Jaguar Thunder's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
