Reginaldo Garcia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emboracica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonsinho Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evandro Ramos during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
