In the 19th minute, Frank Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Figueiredo got free with Cido Guerra in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Careiro defense, Vágner Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celsinho Amaral. The Careiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celsinho Amaral should have stopped the shot. Joel Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cido Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinei Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Celsinho Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Rossi was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Joel Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Careiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matías Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Celsinho Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Careiro's Celsinho Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Careiro from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Rossi in the 64th minute of play forced Careiro's goalkeeper Celsinho Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Araguacema SS's Cido Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Figueiredo in the 67th minute of play. Frank Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Frank Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Joel Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Araguacema SS's Cido Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Dinei Quintal notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Araguacema SS's Cido Guerra. Cido Guerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vágner Rocha in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celsinho Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Frank Rossi took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celsinho Amaral. Celsinho Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Cido Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Figueiredo in the 92nd minute of the match. Dinei Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Guerra having to interfere. The Araguacema SS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Careiro from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
