Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Melado's Kjell Hernström got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Os.MaLLa's Silas Arantes got a free kick in the 12th minute. Geraldo Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Hernström in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Os.MaLLa's goalkeeper Geraldo Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horácio Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. José Vítor Silveira in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geraldo Toledo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Os.MaLLa's zone, José Vítor Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Toledo came out of the goal and José Vítor Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Vítor Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Geraldo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Kjell Hernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melado were furious when Júnior Silveira was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kjell Hernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Hernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Toledo having to interfere. Georg Ingemarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Georg Ingemarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melado's supporters rose to their feet, but Georg Ingemarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Kjell Hernström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell Hernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geraldo Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Ingemarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Hernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kjell Hernström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Geraldo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Hernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Toledo having to interfere. If Georg Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Georg Ingemarsson fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melado's protests and gave Georg Ingemarsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Melado getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Georg Ingemarsson hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Georg Ingemarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Charles Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioannis Täublin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
