Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ricardinho Severo started the match with the kick off. Romeu Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Severo in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Polêmicos Ltda FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Neto. Leonel Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Romeu Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Cristiano Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeu Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardinho Severo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute Ricardinho Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Pedro Paulo Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Róbson Schmidt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Paulo Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Pedro Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Pedro Paulo Duarte made the kick off in the second half. João Pedro Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Schmidt having to interfere. Pedro Paulo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Róbson Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Travassos hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Polêmicos Ltda FC's Américo Ortiz tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Romeu Nascimento got control of the ball when Leonel Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeu Nascimento acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cacá Fernandez. The Polêmicos Ltda FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
