After some careless play in the Infernao defense, Elder Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Ribeiro. The Infernao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. Ademar Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Erki Allik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elder Félix struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Igor Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Luzia FC. In the 14th match minute, Infernao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Paulista to maneuver through the defense. When Santa Luzia FC's Elder Félix in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Infernao's goalie prevented a goal. Santa Luzia FC's Erki Allik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Simão in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Wawrzyniec Jajecznica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Luzia FC and the Infernao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elder Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Igor Ribeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Elder Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Santa Luzia FC's Haroldo Pitta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 39 played minutes Infernao got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Paulista. Igor Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Félix in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Infernao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Leite to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Santa Luzia FC booed when Infernao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Santa Luzia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Velasco came free, but Erki Allik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Félix in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Infernao's Umberto Paulista got a free kick in the 58th minute. Elder Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Igor Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erki Allik having to interfere. Santa Luzia FC's Orlando de Queiroz was substituted for Fred Mazza. 81 minutes into the match, Elder Félix notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Infernao's Igor Ribeiro. Igor Ribeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ademar Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto Paulista got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th match minute, Infernao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Paulista to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Santa Luzia FC's goalkeeper Erki Allik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar Simão. When the referee ended the match the Santa Luzia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
