Vânderson Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Gampfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hernan Gampfer came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the GAMP F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Gampfer couldn't finish the play. Hernan Gampfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vânderson Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Allan Tepedino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vânderson Coutinho, 1-0. After a rather tough play, GAMP F.C's Allan Tepedino got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cangalha SS's Vânderson Coutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Cangalha SS from getting a goal against them. GAMP F.C's Douglas Amorim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vânderson Coutinho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Jairo Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Jairo Arantes made a precise shot to the right of Vânderson Coutinho. Cangalha SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dinei de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César da Mata in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GAMP F.C's zone, Kléberson Netto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei de Moraes came out of the goal and Kléberson Netto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nuno do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Kléberson Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinei de Moraes. GAMP F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléberson Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Gampfer made a kick off. Vânderson Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Arantes in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Cangalha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Gampfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Kléberson Netto took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dinei de Moraes to make any attempt to save it. Adrianinho Paes's late challenge caught a GAMP F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Paes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Cangalha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Paes to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of GAMP F.C booed when Cangalha SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Hernan Gampfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAMP F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Gampfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hernan Gampfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
