After a rather tough play, Iracema's Armandinho Vianna got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iracema's goalkeeper Eduardo Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The excitement rose when Iracema's Nestor Toscano after 60 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Gigante da Colina's goalkeeper to hold.
