Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dedê Brito got the match started through his kick off. Leopoldo Arantes was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Ian Zanette capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ian Zanette really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Leopoldo Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Ortiz in the 7th minute. If Ian Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gigante da Colina's Leopoldo Arantes got control of the ball when Henrique Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 minutes, Naldo Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreirinha and the Gigante da Colina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Barreirinha got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Messias. Gigante da Colina's Leopoldo Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Zanette in the 18th minute of play. Leopoldo Arantes was a little too slow when Ian Zanette got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Leopoldo Arantes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henrique Ortiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. If Dedê Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Arantes having to interfere. Leopoldo Arantes was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Ian Zanette capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ian Zanette really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Leopoldo Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Paes in the 43rd minute of play. Gigante da Colina's Leopoldo Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Gigante da Colina from getting a goal against them. When Ian Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Barreirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Zanette couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Ian Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Arantes was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ian Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Henrique Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eugênio França helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, one of Gigante da Colina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gigante da Colina. Dedé Salgado placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Leopoldo Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Zanette in the 66th minute of the match. Barreirinha's Henrique Ortiz got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Henrique Ortiz off the ground. After 68 played minutes Barreirinha got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Ortiz. Ian Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Arantes having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Naldo Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barreirinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Leopoldo Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Zanette in the 81st minute of play. Nilmar Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes of play, Barreirinha's Naldo Messias made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Gigante da Colina defense, Ian Zanette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Arantes. The Gigante da Colina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Arantes should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Zanette in the 100th minute of the match.
