Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francois Schöpfer kicked off to start the match. Nelson Sá came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Macao's Pedro Luís de Amorim. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Pedro Luís de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelson Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francois Schöpfer in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cavalcanti SC's Bernardinho Fantini got a free kick in the 9th minute. Valdemar Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Pedro Luís de Amorim took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Sá. Nelson Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pedro Luís de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Sá having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Francois Schöpfer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nelson Sá was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexsandro Cardoso got free with Edgardo Roland in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilton Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Edgardo Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play, Macao's Pedro Luís de Amorim made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Macao were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexsandro Cardoso made a kick off. Francois Schöpfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelson Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Macao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francois Schöpfer in the 60th minute. Francois Schöpfer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Macao's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Cavalcanti SC's Nelson Sá got control of the ball when Francois Schöpfer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelson Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauã Romero in the 66th minute. Francois Schöpfer scored 0-5 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Francois Schöpfer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Nilton Salgado hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Nelson Sá made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Francois Schöpfer sent off a good shot on target. Francois Schöpfer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Nelson Sá made a huge save. With his leg Nelson Sá managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Macao's Francois Schöpfer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francois Schöpfer got free with Nelson Sá in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th match minute, Cavalcanti SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Fantini to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes of play, Macao's Pedro Luís de Amorim made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Cavalcanti SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Macao were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
