Nelsinho Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Hortêncio Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Nascimento in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Simão saved Cocamera SC from getting behind. In the 47th minute Douglas Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitinho Oliveira made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Didi Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hortêncio Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Borges made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Douglas Rossi sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Jonas Borges managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Cocamera SC's Douglas Rossi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonas Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Oliveira in the 65th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Vitinho Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonas Borges. Vitinho Oliveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Douglas Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jonas Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Muquy's Charles Peixoto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cocamera SC. In the 85th match minute, Cocamera SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hortêncio Simão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. Hortêncio Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Nascimento in the 95th minute of play.
