The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fernando Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Téo Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Vander having to make a save. With a little luck, Paranapanema's Sebastião Vander got control of the ball when Téo Matorin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Paranapanema getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Berger in the 91st minute of play forced Viralitro FC's goalkeeper Humberto Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Paranapanema were victorious despite being under pressure from Viralitro FC for much of the match.
