Edmílson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Toscano in the 7th minute of play. Gamboa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Mané Toscano scored to the left of an out of position Edmílson Gaúcho, making the score, 2-0. Gamboa's Edmílson Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gamboa from getting a goal against them. Edmílson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gamboa's Edmílson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Toscano in the 25th minute of play. Rodolfo Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Ribeiro in the 26th minute of the match. Dadá Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Lira having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gamboa's goalkeeper Edmílson Gaúcho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Mané Toscano took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Edmílson Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. Mané Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Gaúcho having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match Richard Cearense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Lira skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute, Silvério Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dadá Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Toscano to make the kick off. Mané Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerônimo Damião during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 minutes, Dadá Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gamboa and the D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Gamboa got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Koehler. 58 minutes into the match, Gamboa's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Toscano came free, but Edmílson Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Ribeiro got free with Rodolfo Lira in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Mané Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elder Ramalho hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gamboa's Edmílson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Toscano in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Nestor Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gamboa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP the free kick. In the 69th match minute, Gamboa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gamboa's goalkeeper Edmílson Gaúcho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmílson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Braga in the 74th minute of play forced Gamboa's goalkeeper Edmílson Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Toscano in the 97th minute of play forced Gamboa's goalkeeper Edmílson Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
