Leonardo Moreira started the match with the kick off. Donatello Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex de Lara made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Fernandinho de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Fernandinho de Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex de Lara. Fernandinho de Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Anderson Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatello Salgado in the 18th minute of play forced Muniz's goalkeeper Alex de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandinho de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Alex de Lara made a huge save. When Carlos Fernando Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Muniz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Márcio Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex de Lara having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Tonta EC's Donatello Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donatello Salgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Donatello Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex de Lara having to interfere. Fernandinho de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Carlos Fernando Campidelis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Donatello Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tonta EC's Donatello Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donatello Salgado to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatello Salgado in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Muniz's Rafa Mangueira got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Leonardo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernandinho de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Adolfo de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donatello Salgado struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Alex de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tonta EC. 79 minutes into the match, Tonta EC's Fernandinho de Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex de Lara came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Tonta EC's Donatello Salgado. But to his dismay, Donatello Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Donatello Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute of the match Sandro Passos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex de Lara skillfully saved the ball. Alex de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donatello Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatello Salgado struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alex de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tonta EC. Donatello Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tonta EC had played much better football throughout.
