In the 42nd minute of the match Cássio Lopes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Faria skillfully saved the ball. In the 94th minute, Maurinho Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
