Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Belmiro Paranaense got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Federacao's zone, Luisão Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói de Castro came out of the goal and Luisão Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 played minutes Federacao got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Medeiros. Gilberto Rosa got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Elói de Castro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Rosa in the 13th minute of play forced Federacao's goalkeeper Elói de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalmo Rosa struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Elói de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Goonies. The supporters of The Goonies booed when Federacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói de Castro having to interfere. The supporters of Federacao booed when The Goonies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano do Vale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Belmiro Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Natã Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Adalmo Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of The Goonies booed when Federacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federacao's Elói de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Rosa in the 56th minute of play. Elói de Castro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benê Toscano. In the 59th match minute, Federacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Alessandro Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Benê Toscano fired a really elegant long shot, but Elói de Castro threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Federacao's Hélder Medeiros got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Hélder Medeiros off the ground. A collision led to Federacao getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hélder Medeiros hit a great ball. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Federacao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benê Toscano was slow to take the kick. During this time The Goonies's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Benê Toscano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elói de Castro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elói de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Federacao's Daniel Coelho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Adalmo Rosa scored 0-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elói de Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Adalmo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When The Goonies's Gilberto Rosa in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Federacao's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Belmiro Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Federacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Goonies the free kick. Gilberto Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilberto Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalmo Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elói de Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over The Goonies could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Federacao throughout the match.
