But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Hermes couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, JESUS TE AMA FC's Belmiro de Sena got control of the ball when Armando Lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Felipe Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JESUS TE AMA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bueno the free kick. After 6 played minutes JESUS TE AMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Cerezo. In the 8th match minute, Bueno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Mattos to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Antônio Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christian Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bueno's Antônio Freire got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Christian Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Andrézinho Bertassi made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Novaes. Bueno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Jean Viana fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JESUS TE AMA FC's protests and gave Jean Viana a yellow card for diving instead. Jean Viana hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Antônio Freire scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Belmiro de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Lago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Belmiro de Sena came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando Lago slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. JESUS TE AMA FC's Belmiro de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Freire in the 34th minute of play. Aloísio Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, JESUS TE AMA FC's Felipe Cerezo got a free kick in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Lago got free with Belmiro de Sena in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrézinho Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Novaes having to interfere.

If Wiliam Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aloísio Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Novaes having to interfere. Armando Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Belmiro de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrézinho Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of JESUS TE AMA FC booed when Bueno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Aloísio Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Bertassi in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, JESUS TE AMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Lago came free, but Belmiro de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
