César da Costa's late challenge caught a Cedral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo de Mendonças short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Zeca Pires to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Rosado in the 30th minute of play forced Cedral's goalkeeper Zeca Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Cedral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Percy Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Percy Rosado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Perivaldo de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Pires having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Rafinha de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perobal FC and the Cedral players grew even worse after the yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, Perobal FC's Perivaldo de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeca Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Vieira in the 97th minute of play forced Cedral's goalkeeper Zeca Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perobal FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
