After a rather tough play, Star Wars's Nelsinho Seco got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute, Moisés Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dé Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Rubinho Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dé Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rubinho Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dé Paulista was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Star Wars's goalkeeper Dé Paulista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Star Wars's Dé Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Catarinense in the 47th minute of play. The Star Wars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pocete FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luiz Catarinense made the kick off in the second half. Felipe Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Quadros in the 59th minute of play. Washington Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Pocete FC's protests and gave Henrique Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. Rubinho Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubinho Melo got in the 96th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dé Paulista handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
