Guga Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Fernandinho Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽'s Guga Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Barros during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute of the match Marcelinho Carioca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dé Paulista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dé Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guga Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Guerra was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Fernandinho Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Star Wars defense, Fernandinho Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dé Paulista. The Star Wars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé Paulista should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Washington Guerra came free, but Carlos do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽'s Carlos do Nascimento got control of the ball when Dinei Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Guerra in the 74th minute of the match. After 80 minutes, Oséias Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Star Wars and the ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Star Wars got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Arantes. Carlos do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Guerra in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Fernandinho Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Star Wars's goalkeeper Dé Paulista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Washington Guerra came free, but Carlos do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽'s Carlos do Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽ from getting a goal against them. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ⚽ Shadow FC ⚽ had played much better football throughout.
