Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedrão Matorin took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Moura in the 3rd minute of play forced Anajaz AD's goalkeeper Conrado Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Eao's Adelino de Castro got control of the ball when Rodolfo de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rômulo Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Pontes having to interfere. The Eao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute Germano da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedé Linhares's late challenge caught a Eao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 34thth minute of the game Rômulo Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anajaz AD's Conrado Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Pontes came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Eao's Pedrão Matorin. But to his dismay, Pedrão Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Germano da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Germano da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anajaz AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anajaz AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Pedrão Matorin scored to the left of an out of position Conrado Pontes, making the score, 0-3. The corner led Anajaz AD's Cipriano Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Adelino de Castro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Conrado Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rômulo Moura in the 83rd minute. Rômulo Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrão Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Conrado Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
