Waldir Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Travassos having to interfere. Arí Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lobao SC's Valdomiro Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Messias in the 24th minute of play. Arí Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lobao SC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jaime Peixoto hit a great ball. When Ibera F.C.'s Waldir Messias in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Erasmo Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Waldir Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdomiro Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Gaúcho in the 45th minute of play. Rodolfo Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

In the 54th minute Arí Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Messias struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Valdomiro Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibera F.C.. Waldir Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdomiro Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Arí Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdomiro Travassos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lobao SC's Valdomiro Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Lobao SC from getting a goal against them. Waldir Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Travassos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. Waldir Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Waldir Messias came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ibera F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir Messias couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lobao SC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Silvinho Pinho hit a great ball. Ibera F.C. played a much better game than Lobao SC and deserved their victory. The Lobao SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
