Mocos SS's Gilson Valladares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pitangui SS. 11 minutes into the game, João Carlos Vinhas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruninho Prado. João Carlos Vinhas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The Mocos SS fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Mocos SS's Karsten Priø looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Mehmet Emre Temizalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, João Carlos Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mocos SS's supporters rose to their feet, but João Carlos Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruninho Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mocos SS's Karsten Priø was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Karsten Priø from a close distance when the talented Bruninho Prado managed to make a qualified save. Pitangui SS's players were relieved. João Carlos Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bruninho Prado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocos SS. With his leg Bruninho Prado managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Mocos SS's Karsten Priø fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the match, Pitangui SS's goalkeeper Bruninho Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karsten Priø. With his leg Bruninho Prado managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Mocos SS's Karsten Priø fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Mocos SS booed when Pitangui SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pitangui SS's Gilmar Ortiz got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 48 played minutes, Mocos SS's Gilson Valladares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruninho Prado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mocos SS reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Bruninho Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Prado having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gilson Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Mocos SS's João Carlos Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruninho Prado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 played minutes, Mocos SS's Gilson Valladares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruninho Prado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mocos SS reached it. In the 78th minute, Karsten Priø made a precise shot to the right of Bruninho Prado. Pitangui SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 82 minutes in the game, Luiz Guilherme Baptista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Elder Cruz having to interfere. A collision led to Mocos SS getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Mehmet Emre Temizalp hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mocos SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Pitangui SS's Eusébio Vinhas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elder Cruz. Olívio Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Elder Cruz made a huge save. After 99th play minutes Karsten Priø shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Bruninho Prado and just under the crossbar into goal. There was no doubt that Mocos SS were the better team. Mocos SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
