In the 3rd minute of the match, Zeca Urbano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucas Meirelles was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zeca Urbano struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Lucas Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arandu. In the 9th minute, Gonçalo Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mazinho Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Meirelles having to interfere. Lucas Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 1-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Mazinho Loureiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mazinho Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Lucas Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arandu. When Evandro Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MagLevCobra's protests and gave Evandro Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MagLevCobra getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Evandro Koehler hit a great ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Zeca Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arandu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luizão Pena came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the MagLevCobra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizão Pena couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mazinho Loureiro to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Mazinho Loureiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lucas Meirelles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Mazinho Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Meirelles was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Luizão Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Bueno having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Paulinho Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gil Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Mazinho Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Meirelles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazinho Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Mazinho Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lucas Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of MagLevCobra booed when Arandu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arandu's Mazinho Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeca Urbano struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Lucas Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arandu. Cássio Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Meirelles having to interfere. Arnaldo do Vale's late challenge caught a Arandu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. Arandu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
