Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Guilherme Vale kicked off to start the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Koehler made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Eliseu das Neves sent off a good shot on target. Agnaldo Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Canavani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Vale came free, but Raí Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Abobral fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Abobral's Luiz Guilherme Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raí Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conny Örn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Batista having to interfere. Marco Amorim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raí Batista. Agnaldo Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseu das Neves during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Canavani FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abobral the free kick. Valdomiro Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Abobral could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Canavani FC throughout the match.
