With a left leg Víktor Berger saved Jericoaquara FC from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Aloísio Alagoano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lennart Billvall. Aloísio Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Leonard Magdziarz scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Víktor Berger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Senges SS booed when Jericoaquara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Jericoaquara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Víktor Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Víktor Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Vidal went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Senges SS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Charles Dantas hit a great ball. Christian Cardoso, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. André Luiz Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Víktor Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Senges SS's Adelino Vidal made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Víktor Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jericoaquara FC's goalkeeper Víktor Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute André Luiz Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Senges SS were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adelino Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Víktor Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Jericoaquara FC's zone, Geovanni Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víktor Berger came out of the goal and Geovanni Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Berger having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Jericoaquara FC's goalkeeper Víktor Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovanni Fernandez. If André Luiz Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Senges SS defense, Ulysses Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Billvall. The Senges SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Billvall should have stopped the shot. Leonard Magdziarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Berger having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Senges SS's Adelino Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Víktor Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Egídio Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senges SS and the Jericoaquara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Cardoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lennart Billvall. Senges SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Geovanni Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Víktor Berger, 2-4. Egídio Messias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Víktor Berger. Jericoaquara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Víktor Berger didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, André Luiz Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senges SS's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The goalkeeper, Víktor Berger, was totally fooled by Senges SS's Geovanni Fernandez, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Adelino Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senges SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
