With a little luck, C.R Flamengo's Sidney Trigo got control of the ball when Ramón Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lejeado SS's Fausto Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Quirino in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Wilson Quirino made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Lira. Lejeado SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fausto Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fausto Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Quirino in the 24th minute of play. Fausto Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Rocha in the 27th minute of play forced Lejeado SS's goalkeeper Fausto Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lejeado SS's Fausto Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Lejeado SS from getting a goal against them. C.R Flamengo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
