The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Vágner Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ENGENHARIA FC's Dráuzio Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Ferraz in the 53rd minute of play. Carlos Fonseca scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vágner Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Carlos Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vágner Trancoso. Galileia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 85th minute, Carlos Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Vágner Trancoso. Galileia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Carlos Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Trancoso having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ENGENHARIA FC fully deserved thier win.
