Ausentes AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenium Fc the free kick. Igor Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 17th minute of the match Kléberson Santana completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kléberson Santana a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Arsenium Fc booed when Ausentes AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Arsenium Fc fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Arsenium Fc's Igor Simão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute, André Luís Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luizinho Silva. The goal made the score 1-1. Diamantino Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Igor Simão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Naldo Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Igor Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Pimenta was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Luizinho Silva came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ausentes AD's Diamantino Mattos. But to his dismay, Diamantino Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Diamantino Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Luizinho Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, André Luís Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ausentes AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenium Fc the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Ausentes AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Naldo Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Simão in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diamantino Mattos made a kick off. Ausentes AD's Diamantino Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 played minutes Ausentes AD got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Amorim. Naldo Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alfredão Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Naldo Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Velloso in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Alfredão Cosme made a precise shot to the right of Naldo Pimenta. Ausentes AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 65th minute, Oswaldo Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenium Fc's Luizinho Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Mattos in the 69th minute of play. Naldo Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Velloso in the 71st minute of play. Gabriel Ervig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Naldo Pimenta made a huge save. Naldo Pimenta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luís Fabiano Velloso. Luís Fabiano Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a good free kick, Luís Fabiano Velloso got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Ausentes AD. Ausentes AD's Naldo Pimenta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Ausentes AD from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Ausentes AD's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Simão came free, but Naldo Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naldo Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gabriel Ervig sent off a good shot on target.
