The AF CERRADO fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when AF CERRADO's Nelson Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Claudinei Novaes's late challenge caught a Morere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Novaes to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nelson Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrício do Nascimento was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuca Vasconcelos during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Morere got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Vasconcelos. Samuca Vasconcelos got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Samuca Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. AF CERRADO played a much better game than Morere and deserved their victory. The Morere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
