Cabeco's Vivaldo Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Machado in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Cabeco getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Zé Carlos Ribeiro hit a great ball. Vivaldo Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Machado in the 9th minute. When Andes AD's Tiago Machado in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Vivaldo Matos guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to Andes AD getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Délio Rosado hit a great ball. Vivaldo Matos made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Tiago Machado sent off a good shot on target. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Sousa in the 23rd minute of play. Amadeu Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Machados short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Vivaldo Matos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tiago Machado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vivaldo Matos came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiago Machado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Amadeu Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cabeco booed when Andes AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Corrêa in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Vítor de Amorim saved Andes AD from getting behind. João Vítor de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Andes AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías da Costa to maneuver through the defense.

51 minutes into the match, Andes AD's goalkeeper João Vítor de Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Corrêa. Andes AD's João Vítor de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Andes AD from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Valdemar Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz Capixaba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Vítor de Amorim, 1-1. Vivaldo Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Machado's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If Tiago Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Cabeco's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Machado came free, but Vivaldo Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Machado in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vivaldo Matos saved Cabeco from getting behind. Vivaldo Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago Machado went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Tiago Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cabeco getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Denílson Cavalcante hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Matías da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Valdemar Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vivaldo Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
