Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvério Pirani kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho Braga got free with Agnaldo Nunes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Santos had several of the Panasco's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Agnaldo Nunes as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Wilson Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panasco's protests and gave Wilson Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Panasco's Wilson Baptista got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Rodriguinho Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merejo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateus Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Merejo's zone, Mateus Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Correia came out of the goal and Mateus Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Merejo's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Salgado came free, but Adelino Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Nunes made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rodriguinho Braga sent off a good shot on target. After 32 minutes, Giovani Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panasco and the Merejo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Merejo booed when Panasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Salgado in the 35th minute of the match. Giovani Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Pirani in the 41st minute of play forced Panasco's goalkeeper Agnaldo Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Correia having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mateus Salgado scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adelino Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdemar Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Merejo booed when Panasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Rui Costa made a precise shot to the right of Agnaldo Nunes. Panasco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Agnaldo Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvério Pirani's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Mateus Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Adelino Correia made a huge save. The supporters of Merejo booed when Panasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mateus Salgado could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Adelino Correia however easily saved by the left post.
