Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After having played for 18 minutes, Luisão Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mecatron FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Horácio Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capatara EC's Romeu Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavinho Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavinho Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Capatara EC's zone, Luisão Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Saraiva came out of the goal and Luisão Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeu Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Tróia in the 54th minute of the match. Horácio Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeu Saraiva having to make a save. Romeu Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Luisão Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Horácio Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeu Saraiva was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Romeu Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
