Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Moraes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enrique Soeiro came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by E.C.Veneciano's Joaquim Moraes. But to his dismay, Joaquim Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Enrique Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Botelho went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Joaquim Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the E.C.Veneciano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Moraes couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Frederico Botelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Soeiro. Livramento SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederico Botelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Botelho in the 19th minute of play forced Livramento SS's goalkeeper Enrique Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Célio Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The E.C.Veneciano fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when E.C.Veneciano's Frederico Botelho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 24 minutes into the match, Livramento SS's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Moraes came free, but Enrique Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Soeiro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. When Joaquim Moraes got free in front of the goal in the 33rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Enrique Soeiro was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Enrique Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Botelho's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Frederico Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Joaquim Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Livramento SS's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Moraes came free, but Enrique Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorginho Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Livramento SS defense, Frederico Botelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Soeiro. The Livramento SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Soeiro should have stopped the shot. Fábio Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Mesquita having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Joaquim Moraes took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Enrique Soeiro to make any attempt to save it. Frederico Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Enrique Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Joaquim Moraes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enrique Soeiro, passed just outside the right post. Jorginho Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marcel Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Livramento SS. Livramento SS's Enrique Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Moraes in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute E.C.Veneciano were awarded a corner. Eliézer Dante went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Livramento SS's goalie and right to Sílvio Mattos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Livramento SS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 81 minutes into the match, Livramento SS's goalkeeper Enrique Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico Botelho. Frederico Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Joaquim Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded E.C.Veneciano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Livramento SS.
